About Stephen Rivas

I’m a student at the School of Visual Arts in New York City pursuing a graduate degree in the MFA Computer Arts program.

I am aspiring to be a 3D Generalist with a focus on texturing, lighting, and modeling. I utilize Maya, Houdini, ZBrush, Substance, C4D, Nuke, After Effects, and Redshift in my workflow in order to elicit laughter, tell stories, and create visually interesting worlds.

Outside of my pursuit of 3D, some of my interests include swimming and cooking. I swam competitively in high school, and my team won the State Championship 3 out of our 4 years. I was a state finalist in Butterfly and the 200 IM! One of my favorite dishes to make is stir-fry. I love the blend of veggies and protein. I’m also a huge fan of Connecticut Pizza!
